Preschool & Pre-K

The CIRCLE Pre-K (by CLI Engage) curriculum Kindergarten readiness is for children 3-5 years old, building a foundation for success in school and life. It is an effective comprehensive early-learning program that embraces children’s natural curiosity and encourages them to explore and connect to the world around them. This program features activities to help foster social-emotional development and promote positive outcomes in Pre-K classrooms.

  • Begins with a question or experience to elicit children’s input and increase children’s engagement levels.

  • Students make connections in Learning Centers.

  • Oral language is at the heart of our instruction. Teachers generate meaningful conversations and encourage oral language and vocabulary development throughout the day.

As a Texas School Ready Comprehensive Participant, Children’s Treehouse teachers provide daily opportunities for children to hear language modeled and use language in rich and varied contexts. A wealth of materials and strategies included in this program help teachers promote the development of the most important language skills:

  • Listening Comprehension.

  • Speaking and Conversation.

  • Sentence Structure.

  • Oral Vocabulary.

  • Teachers will use a Development Checklist in addition to Computerized assessments.

  • A Social-Emotional focus for each theme is embedded throughout instruction.

  • Create learning through PLAY.

  • Problem-Solving Questions based on early Math Concepts.

  • Teachers have access to a collection of ONLINE resources and tools that help our teachers extend early learning into the home and community.

  • Core subjects to make writing connections.

  • Lessons to guide and enhance interactions between teachers and children.

  • THREE Big Experiences each day to build student vocabulary skills and create meaningful conversations within the classroom.
